There are a lot of posts discussing how a beholder's voice would sound, but none about the creature itself. I want to create some foreshadowing as they enter the lair, by describing the sounds that a floating beholder would make as it moves around the place, but no matter how much I look, I can't find any guides as to how would that sound. So! I'm preparing a beholder encounter for my main table, which they don't suspect at all (they believe it's a different creature).
